rides '68 CB350KO
I love this little bike. I bought it in 2000 for $190. It didn't run when I bought it, but all it needed was the carbs rebuilt and the gas tank lined with Kreem. It has 17,300 miles. I rode it to the Vintage Jap Show and Swap Meet in Jefferson, PA in '03 and took a trophy for runner-up in the vintage class.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to ride much this summer. I was plagued with leaky floats, then discovered the battery wasn't charging, then screwed up the threads on one of my sparkplug holes, then messed up one of my valves when tapping new threads into the cylinder head. Long story short, I have work to do this winter. Click for a larger view

I bought this bike for $675 in 2002. I rode it a few times, then started chopping. The bike had a current PA inspection when I bought it. It ran pretty good, but the carbs could use a good cleaning and probably re-jetting.

'83 Datsun 200SX
This car was pretty slick for it's day. It has power everything, including a little voice that tells you things like "left door open", "fuel level low", "lights are on" and a few other phrases. It's got a 2.3L, fuel injected, 4cylinder engine. It's kind of peppy, but overall, pretty slow compared to today's cars.

The worst thing about this car is that its rear wheel drive and very light, so it handles pretty poorly in the snow. Even a light dusting causes the car to slide when braking or in sharp corners. Actually, now that I think about it...I kind of like driving it in the snow,
Unfortunately, I sold my beloved Datsun this summer. It had 140,000 miles on it, and still ran like a champ. With a little love and some regular maintenence this little baby should last her new owner for another 60,000 miles.
